A giant sea turtle rescue unfolded on a remote beach in Isla Mujeres, Mexico, after four friends discovered an exhausted sea turtle trapped between rocks and unable to reach the ocean. At first, they weren’t even sure the turtle was still alive. The stranded sea turtle had been out of the water for a long time and was too weak to free herself. With no cell signal and no immediate help available, the group worked together to carefully move the massive turtle toward the sea. The rescue wasn’t easy. Because of her size and poor condition, they had to move her little by little, stopping along the way so she could rest.
