How we keep these numbers accurate
The list features 50 videos from 50 channels with 447.1M views in total; the average length is 1:24.
Every view, like and comment count on YouthVid comes directly from YouTube's official Data API; we never estimate or make up numbers. Figures are shortened for readability (for example 33M), and the exact count is always one click away on YouTube.
Once a day we take a snapshot of every video we track. The difference between two snapshots shows how many views a video really gained, so the ranking reflects what is growing right now, not only what is already big. Videos that are deleted or made private disappear with the next update, and no statistic is kept for more than 30 days.

Sports, news, live streams, premieres, videos longer than 3 hours, ads and videos with suspiciously low engagement for their view count are left out.

Match highlights, breaking news and live streams can take over a list in a single day. Leaving them out, together with ads and videos with boosted views, keeps the list focused on what people actually choose to watch.

Every day, with fresh view, like and comment counts from YouTube.
